Gentoo group

Gentoo group is a people and property business, their main objectives is to sell houses. However, this property oriented company makes a difference, because they care about their people and communities which live in their houses.

They wanted to launch the new vision mission statement to the internal employees; however it was challenging to get the attention of each employee because over half of the staff are based or working across the city.

In order to get the attention of every employee an annual event was launched. The “Bring WOW to Work” campaign was introdcued. The aim of the campaign is to launch the New Vision Mission Values statement to each employee through different creativity approaches. Those approaches are conducted through creative thinking. It includes several games which will improve the communication channel, teamwork and motivation level of the employees. The aim is to bring employees together in order to make them understand the new vision mission values statement of the Gentoo group company.

Do you think using creativity at work is important? If yes why, If not why?

  1. I think creativity in PR is essential, particularly in internal communications. When employees are in a routine and are adapted to receiving the same approaches in communications daily, a new and creative approach can grab their attention.

  2. I agree. Creativity allows people to think and see things in a different way. Gentoo obviously wanted the employees to interact with each other in the hope that this would in turn improve the communication channels between the employees and enhance overall business performance. Creative thinking gives employees a break from strategic thinking, allowing them to be more imaginative and more inclined to take on new ideas. Hope this helps.

  3. I really think that playing games, having to work as a team, promotes and creates a better work environment. Creating fun and informal interaction with creative tactics surly helped the gentoo group reach their objectives.
